2011: The Dresden Doll’s Amanda Palmer attends one of the gallery exhibitions: her blog mentions Brett Sylvia’s work. Listen to her impression from “Strange Dreams, Odd Reality” ( 2011):
“I thought it was beautiful. I fell in love with this creature [OP the Cyclops]. My friend Kate and I both felt the impulse. She actually came up and hugged it. I loved how fantastically connected the environment was with the music. We were thinking how incredibly different the artwork would look if we were listening to the soundtrack to “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” or the first Britney Spears record.“
